Balance Through Being Present

IMG_1767

We are all capable of growth in leaps and bounds, or small minute detailed seeds.  We healthfully integrate such growth by accepting the cycle we are currently offered and devoting time and energy to bravely leaping, or carefully scrutinizing these rhythms. Our rhythms are our own, to navigate, celebrate, amplify, and combine with the overall resonance of Divine Source to the best of our capacity each day.  And yet, for those that leap, or those that carefully plan, there are times in life in which we are offered opportunities to elevate our personal vibration and often through the opposite patterning that we are accustomed to.

Some of us may live many lifetimes in a single incarnated lifespan, some of us may live a very long one life experience; each soul incarnates with the free will, and resonance to fulfill its life path with Grace and self acceptance.  For those that have cycled many times through lifespans, we are able to offer reassurance, a helping, steadying hand to those that are new to the physical, or have not been on the planet in physical reality in a long time.  For those that are new to the earth plane, they are able to remind us of the delight and capacity to bravely explore all human interaction.

In the duality of exploring new manners and rythms, we evolve a little further towards our own highest good. We all can identify what brings us balance, by looking at the overall patterns and reoccurring life times we attract into daily, yearly and decades of living.  If we are masterful at attracting abundance then what abundance are we capable of bestowing on others?  If we are always in conscious physical being, when and where do we allow ourselves to dream? If always in mental exploration, at what time throughout our lifespan or in each moment of the day will we choose to ‘feel’ and think with the emotional body? For example, if a person is used to carrying others, energetically, the inverse balancing practise, is to release all such sense of responsibility and to identify that the ultimate gift is reminding one another we are capable of carrying ourselves, with God/dess constant encouragement. On the opposite and counterbalancing side of the spectrum of energy exchange, if a person is used to receiving, then the inverse is to give selflessly.

Each of us is always walking on an etheric web of scales.  Where we drop our attention and harvest intentional creative being, where we draw, sculpt and build new dreams. We are also each susceptible of combining our personal rhythm with an overlying cultural or life pattern in the present worlds manifest reality.  It can be comfortable to believe we should rush, and achieve, because of a thread of energy that flows through current culture in an imbalanced way that promotes dissociation from Peacefulness.  We are able, however with devoted time and energy to each choose to be present in each breath, each moment, and see that while we build empires of being, thought, or material wealth, we can also choose to feel, meditate, simplify and expand our energy field to the more ancient roots, rhythms and threads of energy that circle beyond this present time, and offer an anchor into Peacefulness.

Balance is a daily devotional practice.  It is in connecting more fully with the our physical heartbeat and rhythm, and the mirror, amplifier, greater drum of the planet. Yet it is also in reaching out energetically and identifying patterns that others carry, with depth of compassion and acceptance for the learning path each individual is on. We are always devoted to Peace, how do we choose to balance by embracing the transformative fire of movement and change?  If we are always rushing and achieving, what gifts are we willing to accept into our life for stillness and reception of Beauty?

If someone seeks assistance through asking questions and a will to learn about our personal unfolding, we can choose to offer teachings, yet we can also choose times to be seekers or students ourselves.  Everyone smoothly may flow from one side, space, level of energy reception, to the next.

Opening that receptive quality, for identifying where balance can be invited into our lives requires the free will choice, to pause, to rest, and sometimes to change direction.

For those seeking to feel more balanced at this time in the calendar year, or in their present or approaching decades of self I offer this simple practice that has assisted me in this and previous lifetimes:

Choose a place whether indoors or outside and sit with hands interlaced across the navel.

Breathe deeply for four to twelve breaths, and with each breath allow that ones heartbeat be noted.

Visualize the in a globe of soft white light.  Inside of that globe, there is only space for Love.  This can be said outlaid or repeated in the mind “There is only space for love in my aura.” This is not to say we may not experience echoes of fear, challenge, struggle, frustration or anxiety in our safe energy boundary, but rather that we are blocking reception of external  fear based energy and identifying what we as an individual are contributing/carrying at this moment in time.

Once the globe of light feels solid, a prayer such as this can facilitate learning surrounding personal Balance :

“Dear Divine Source, God/dess of Creation, thank you for your assistance in cleaning all levels of energy that are no longer in alignment with my highest good.  Please help me to clearly see areas of my life in which I ma ready for healing, or can invite in change.  Thank you for sending my guardian angels, spirit guides, ancestors  or the ascended masters aligned with m at this time, to me in my sleep or during meditation to encourage courage, patience and compassion.  Thank you for this gift of life, I am ready to take responsibility for any actions that are necessary or any inaction that is most healthful during this cycle of self, to continue my growth and personal, and universally connected, evolution.  Amen, OM and Aho.”

After such a prayer,  what do we receive? Approaching this experience with a willingness to Grow, can reveal or solidify deep intuitive wisdom.  Sometimes we grow with so much effort and sometimes with spontaneous acceptance of light speed life shifts. Perhaps we receive messages, clear feelings through self acceptance, we may feel, think, see, or hear messages. There may be fragments of songs, warmth, colour or words. Perhaps we identify we are offered balance through the warmth of a nap, song, spontaneous body movement or sustenance through healthful food, as rises through a series of messages in our globes of protective light.

As we sort through and accept each thought/feeling/sensation as they rise, what do we clearly identify regarding our connection to the external world, after we have invested time and energy in balancing this internal landscape? Is there an invitation to practice forgiveness should another person be seeking to place their burden on our energy shoulders?   We may choose to practice prayer for individuals that are close to energy breakthroughs, after identifying that our role is to self heal and then remind others they are capable of the same.  Acceptance of growth allows whatever cycle is natural at this time, to occur, until a new cycle is invited in.  When we are fluid in our self acceptance, we allow our personal processes to flow more peacefully through our lifespan, and empower all those we encounter that Balance is possible.

With light and kindness for wherever your personal rhythms are guiding your each this month,

Authentic Voice and Inner Calm

Recently I have had several people comment that I am very calm, which often surprises me. My internal landscape has volcanic eruptions of emotions, etheric pendulums of cosmic unfolding, and a mental dialogue at the speed of a hummingbirds wing. Yet I accept these comments, as a reflection of a personal dedication to balance. Through the authenticity of acknowledging what I need in each moment to find a balanced self, balance can resonate like calmness.

No matter how old we are in physical body, we have aspects of ourselves that will forever be as pure and innocent as a young child. In the capacity of acknowledging that this aspect of self exists, we are offered the choice to honor the words, action and movement that can be practiced to bring about personal authenticity, calm and empowerment. Our words, beliefs and faith in the outside world often mirror the words that we use with ourselves.

I have the good fortune to work with a few hundred children, sharing in the gifts of Yoga. Children are receptive on so many levels. Their ‘intuition’ and heightened sensitivities, their sixth sense, is finely tuned to discerning the nonverbal cues adults send around them each and every day. If we seek to empower them to feel safe, confident and supported, one of the ways to do so, is to attune our inner voice with our outwards voices and actions. Before I teach and share yoga with the children, the future generations who will be caretakers of our planet, I empower myself to seek personal balance. In my personal practice I feed myself honesty. The words, the feelings, the movements and breathing that my being is calling out for, in its search for balance. On days where I am sleepy, vulnerable or discouraged, I empower myself to be honest on an internal level with these feelings. If we are feeding ourselves with gentle, loving kindness such as ‘I know you are doing the best that you are able to at this time. Thank you, I am proud of you.’ Instead of a negative or hurtful thought pattern, other people we encounter, particularly children, will hear gentleness and loving kindness in the words that we use with them. Authentic internal voice may sometimes say ‘I expected better from you today,’ But it can also say, ‘I forgive you and know that you can do better. I love and respect you in the ways that you are growing, changing and learning every day. In this inner dialogue, we begin to see changes in our outward lives.

Many parents have told me they wished they could feel a greater sense of calm when with their children. I offer them this gentle encouragement. ‘Instead of seeking to appear calm, give oneself permission to acknowledge what the self is truly seeking to feel Balanced, the calm follows honoring ones authentic self.’

If we are willing to be forgiving and kind internally, the world around us shifts and reflects this seeking for personal balance. Peoples actions, choices and impact then gather the momentum for us to recognize ways that we can be encouraging, forgiving and supportive of others. Children especially will feel a devotion to balance and kindness radiate off of us.

One of the prayers I use out loud or internally when seeking to acknowledge my authentic voice and self is:

“Dear God/dess, Creator and Light source of this magnificent earth, please help me to receive the gifts of self knowledge that allow for accurate identification of the thoughts, words, movement and color I need at this time to reconnect with a Balanced sense of Self. Please send the light resonance of the Archangel Micheal and Shiva to cut through all lower vibrations of self doubt or negativity I have been feeding myself. Please send the compassion, beauty and grace of Quan Yin and the Archangel Jophiel to assist me in seeing the beauty I have to share on an authentic level with all those I influence and encounter. Thank you beautiful earth for cradling my footsteps, as I stand in stillness or walk in new directions that honor my Soul Path. Thank you, Amen, OM and Aho.”

What are the words we can each feed ourselves in this moment to afford an opportunity for balance or self healing? Placing our hands over our heart centers we can take a series of deep breathes and ask our intuitive selves, ‘What do I need at this time?’ Whatever the answer, we are then given the choice to listen and honor the intuitive, innocent self that answers.

May we choose Compassion and Grace.

With light and respect for the ways we are each seeking balance at this time,

What About the 6th Sense?

When a person asks a small child, how big they are, many children will stretch their arms out as far as they can, and with straining effort that their little chubby arms cannot encapsulate, say “SOOOOOO big.” The child is telling the truth. Their spirit, although patiently navigating, first steps, tumbles and the giant challenge of adult sized stairs, is infinitely larger than their human body. Their bright innocent light, is still aware at this stage of childhood, that ‘they’ stretch outwards, upwards, and in each direction, miles from their physical body. Their perception of space, the being of human and also this infinite being, is existing in a cooperative manner that allows for intuition and awareness of people they interact with, the environment and elements, and of their myriad array of helpers on the etheric plane; fairies, angels, ascended masters, god/dess, earth spirits and guides.

In the beginning, when a bright and light resonating soul comes into the world in the tiny infant body they will inhabit for this lifespan, there is the first realization of a new perception of space. Sometimes this can bring out allot of tears. In my case, my parents claim I came out into the world, looked around, at them and my siblings, had some breast milk and promptly went to sleep. On days where I feel several lifetimes old, I think back to this moment and ruefully laugh, for even with several lifetimes of birthing and living and dying, one of the lessons I return to with the occasional outburst of frustration and fist shaking at the sky, is for inhabiting, in the physical body, a small space.

When does this perception of space become confining or ‘smaller’? I think each person may have a different time. A trauma, or a hurt, where they felt small all of a sudden, and the giant reach of their spirit felt knocked off of center. For myself, as I sat in my grade one desk, clutching rainbow colored pencils, my first negative interaction with space occurred when the teacher wrote on the board and said “There are 5 senses.” In my head, I said, “What about the 6th sense?” As an intuitive and empathetic child, looking around at my class mates, many bright eyes and big spirited, I waited to see who would be brave enough to ask the question. There was silence. I chewed on my pencil and waited until lunch to go home, and ask my mom why the teacher wasn’t talking about the 6th sense, by far my favorite sense, the one I relieved upon more than any other to navigate life. I do not remember her response, but it was something along the lines of “Well, maybe the teacher wasn’t told there is one?”

Last week I had a wonderful and spontaneous conversation with a woman about the spirit realm, and I thanked her for her ‘openness’. She replied, “Yes, it is true, isn’t it? People will speak to the level they are spoken to?” And I agreed, and then smiled. This blogpost is in honor of her words.

Over the last year, as I have shared these blogposts, the musings of my 6th sense, I have witnessed an incredible transformation in the way I have interacted with many people in my life, and many beautiful new people I am encountering (for the first time in this life, but ‘again’ from others.) I spend my favorite time and energy ‘speaking’ with this writing of ‘more’, and in celebrating how ‘big’ we all are. It is my apology and reconciliation for the six year olds from my younger self, who got told they were small. It is my apology and reconciliation to the world at large and the adults that are all around me, who have forgotten, and been told that they are small.

I ask my five year old daughter, how big are you, and she gets a twinkle in her eye and shouts back “HUGE!” and then she flexes her chubby arms at me. I hope to have her say the same thing for all the years of her life. I know that their will be times where she may not. I see friends and light workers, who have days where their shoulders curl, and they heads droop and they speak in small voices, and they do not feel the enormity of their spirits, and support of their team of angelic realm helpers. And that is okay, because I have days where I feel small for a few minutes too. However, those days have gotten fewer and farther between, and I want to share this feeling, this expansive, knowledge that we are ‘more’ and ‘big’ and ‘beautiful’ in our enormous energy rich selves.

Here is my prayer for myself, for my child, for each child coming into the world, and for the adults who were once children and told or shown that they did not have light wings,

“I ask that the angels come into this room to the space that any reading these words is inhabiting. I pray that the resonant energy of the Christ Consciousness, and the Archangels, as messengers, and light rays of the Creator/God/dess source of creation, be with us each in this moment, and in the way that we are each most receptive to messages, whether through thought, feeling, sound, or image. Help us to receive a greater awareness of our Higher Selves and aura’s. Please bring these messages all day long. Please remind us that we can reach out with these energy selves, to feel rain falling a mile away, to sense people as they come towards us, or move away from us. Please help this ‘greater awareness’ to be gentle, and to show us also the incredible tools we have for deflecting and shrugging away all lower energies. Help us to clean the space that we inhabit, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. And please help us all, to feel energized by this reminder of greater self, empowered to act in our daily lives, with this knowing. Thank you angels, ascended masters, fairies, spirit guides and earth helpers. Thank you, Amen, OM and Aho.”

With light, and respect,
may you be BIG today,
Kamia
